![]() ![]() ![]() When you move the refrigerator leave that alcove area open with just a console or side table such as your white table with the shelf below and a mirror, painting or framed poster above. On the wall between the existing refrigerator and stairs, build in a floor to ceiling pantry cabinet 12"-24" depending on traffic pattern. Create a long run of cabinets on the wall opposite the sink wall incorporating stove, hood and upper and lower cabinets. ![]() The current location of your refrigerator crowds the path to the kitchen. Build in the refrigerator with the cabinet above it the same depth as the refrigerator. Place the refrigerator where the stove is and incorporate an under mounted microwave next to it. Move your dining table and chairs to the window area and eliminate the corner cabinet and most of the other furnishings. Looking at the images you have posted I would recommend the following. Working with a good kitchen designer or a cabinet shop that offers design services would be a good start. Repair what we have? Handwash and wait for Bosch? Kitchen Aid dishwasher? Or something else? But to what? (I had so wanted the new Zeolite drying feature from Bosch!) We do not have Miele-knowledgeable service support in our area, or I would get a Miele. Now it seems the wash motor is leaking (says tech support). We normally run 2 loads a day, and I really don't want to go 3 months without a dishwasher, waiting for the Bosch of my dreams! My husband wants to spend the $250 (plus parts) to get our current one repaired, but we've already did that last year (replacing the drain pump). It's on backorder everywhere, and wouldn't you know our dishwasher just leaked water on our floor! (Fortunately, it alarmed and we were nearby to grab towels.) I've been awaiting this moment for the longest time! The moment when I could replace our dishwasher with a Bosch! Due to the pandemic, Bosch dishwasher production is operating below normal (for social distancing on the line within the factory). ![]()
